Offset ("we", "our", or "the app") is built with privacy as its foundation. This policy explains what data we collect, how it's used, and your rights.
Data We Collect
Short answer: almost nothing. Offset processes all tracking data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal tracking data on any server.
What stays on your device
- All habits, goals, routines, and metrics you create
- Your Momentum Score and history
- Heatmap data and streaks
- AI analysis results (processed on-device)
- App preferences and settings
What we may collect
- Anonymous crash reports (opt-in, via Apple's crash reporting)
- Basic App Store analytics provided by Apple (downloads, device type)
Third-Party Services
Offset does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share your data with anyone.
AI Analysis
All AI-powered insights and analysis run entirely on your device using Apple's on-device machine learning frameworks. Your data never leaves your phone for AI processing.
Data Export & Deletion
You can export all your data at any time from the app settings. To delete all data, simply delete the app — since everything is stored locally, deletion is immediate and permanent.
Children's Privacy
Offset does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
